It was in 1982 that Johnson and Johnson Vision Care went into the contact lens market by obtaining Frontier Contact Lenses, later Vistakon. Johnson and Johnson Vision Care created the world's first disposable soft contacts and the world's number one prescribed contact lens: Acuvue Brand Soft Disposable Contact Lenses.
Vistakon produces a long array of Acuvue Brand contacts to convene patients in more than 70 countries in the world. The Acuvue Brand Disposable Contact Lenses are known for their protection, visual acuity and superior comfort.
For patients who wish to change their eye color, Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, Inc. has developed the Acuvue Colours lenses. They come in two versions: Acuvue 2 Colours Enhancers, that enhances the color of light eyes, and Acuvue 2 Colours Opaque lenses that change the color of dark eyes.
